Ombudsman appointed for workers of self-insured employers |

Employees of self-insured employers now have a free resource to assist them with their complaints: the Office of Ombudsman. Established as an independent agency in 2007, the office is now open for business in Olympia. The office can answer questions, investigate issues and solve some problems but cannot represent workers. Information is confidential. The office is located within the L&I building: 7273 Linderson Way SW, Olympia. The toll-free number is (888) 317-0493.
